The EITI is organising a combined session by the EITI Transition Minerals and Contract Transparency Networks on Tuesday, 30 April 2024. The session aims to delve deeper into the main opportunities and risks associated with awarding transitional mineral licenses and contracts, as well as key contractual provisions in mining contracts, including those likely to undergo renegotiation and/or amendments. Furthermore, the session aims to foster a shared understanding of the business case for contract transparency.
